Families are being encouraged to register early for Gloucestershire County Council’s Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme ahead of the upcoming May half term break.

The HAF programme provides eligible children and young people with access to a wide range of free holiday activities, alongside nutritious meals and opportunities to socialise, learn new skills and stay active during the school holidays.

Activities vary across the county and may include:

  • Sports and outdoor activities
  • Arts and crafts
  • Cooking sessions
  • Dance and drama
  • Nature and wellbeing activities
  • Youth clubs and group sessions

Places can fill quickly, so families are encouraged to register and book activities as soon as possible.

The programme is primarily available to children and young people who receive benefits-related free school meals, although some providers may also offer discretionary places for families who may benefit from additional support.

Further information, eligibility details and booking information can be found on the Gloucestershire County Council HAF webpage.

Stinchcombe Parish Council is pleased to help share information about support and opportunities available to local families.
