Stroud District Council is developing a new Play Strategy and is asking residents across the district to share their views on play.
The strategy will help the Council better understand the experiences of children and young people, identify current opportunities for play, and understand any barriers that prevent children from accessing safe and enjoyable places to play.
Whether you are a parent, grandparent, carer, young person, educator or simply interested in supporting healthy communities, your feedback will help shape future priorities and improvements to play provision across the district.
The consultation is open until Monday 10 August 2026.
You can find out more about the consultation and complete the online survey by visiting the Play Strategy Consultation page on the Stroud District Council website.
Paper copies of the survey are also available on request and can be returned to Stroud District Council.
We encourage all residents to take a few minutes to have their say and help shape the future of play in our communities.
